17 inch long bodice from where natural neckline would be to the waist, 28 inch long skirt. Created in rich black taffeta, complex fitted bodice with 3/4 length sleeves, piping trimmed chevron overlay plackets over the bust line curve down and meet at center waist. The framed back neckline piping trimmed placket joins the chevron placket at the shoulders. The dress is seamed at the waist with two amazing complex folded wings extending from each side, leaving a two inch gap front back and center where the flared black taffeta underskirt shows. The wings create a lavish full skirt. This is truly a rare vintage treasure waiting for a grand occasion!
Details:
Closers: Back center metal zipper from 5 inches below the neck line to the hip line.
Condition: Excellent. Showing little wear. A few minor pin pricks in collar from a past corsage.
